Ms. Sapna Bulchandani

Sapna Bulchandani is the founding member of A Free Mindspace and a Counselling Psychologist. She received her MSc (Hons) in Counselling Psychology at Martin Luther Christian University. Her area of specialty is cognitive behavioral therapy. She is currently a Wellness Manager at SPECTRAFORCE Technologies India Ltd.Having extensive experience in psychotherapy and counselling, Ms. Bulchandani is known for her work in the area of Couples, Marriage, and Family. In particular, she was cited by the Kharga Zonal AWWA for facilitating intensive pro bono support to the families of the zonal units. Additionally, in 2014, she formulated a value-based elective on life skills for undergrad and master's students at St. Joseph’s College for Women(A), Vizag. Continuing to build awareness of mental health and well-being, she has conducted a 5-day integrated program development for young adolescents, motivating them to join the Indian Army and psychological wellness workshops on self-awareness, turning stress into desserts (stress management), life skills, guided meditation, healthy & effective communication skills among couples, sex education for children, good touch & bad touch, effective study skills, teachers as classroom counsellors, adapt to change, sleep hygiene and healthy eating habits across shifts, understanding depression and made her presence in various organizations such as Concentric, Wipro, Sahay clinic, Oakridge International School, St. John’s School, Lake Montfort, Army Public School, Don Bosco School and Missionaries of St Francis De Sales (MSFS).Ms. Bulchandani is recognized for fostering personal growth, mobilizing personal strengths, and enhancing positive experiences by employing an integrative approach using the elements from cognitive-behavioral, emotion-focused, gestalt, and other therapies. Along these lines, she strongly believes that psychological growth and emotional well-being are fostered by a better understanding of how one's thoughts affect one's feelings about oneself and how those feelings are manifested in our interactions with the world.
