The common symptoms of lung cancer are: continuous cough, chest infections, coughing up blood, pain while breathing or coughing, breathlessness, loss of appetite, loss of weight and fatigue.

Lung cancer is a common type of cancer that affects many people all over the world. By the time it is detected, it has usually spread to other organs. Once diagnosed with lung cancer you may do the following: eat a balanced diet; be active, but do not stress yourself, do gentle activities; talk to a counsellor or join a group that supports the condition; take regular medicines, go for regular follow-ups and monitor your condition; quit smoking and avoid exposure to pollution; and avoid seeking information which has no scientific evidence.
