This pain can be sudden, severe and is often associated with nausea, vomiting, jaundice, clay coloured stools and dark urine. In some cases, patient may suffer from fever also.

Gall stones are caused when the amount of cholesterol or bilirubin is high in bile. It usually happens in people with liver disease or some blood disorders. It also happens if gall bladder cannot completely empty its content hence bile becomes concentrated.
