Dr. Prasanna Kumar N is Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist . He treats children and teens suffering from Neurodevelopemental disorders ( Autism, ADHD, Dyslexias/ learning disorders, Intellectual disabilities /Mental retardation) , sleep disorders and Behavioral disorders (Depression, Anxiety /stress disorders, Mood disorders,Psychosis). He has completed his DM in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Prestigious Institute NIMHANS ,Bengaluru and the first and only DM child and adolescent psychiatrist practicing in Andhra Pradesh. During my initial years after training he worked under legendary and senior Psychiatrists. Later he had worked for considerable years as Psychiatrist in Major Mental hospitals including IMH Eragadda, Hyderabad and Governement Hospital for Mental care ,Visakhapatnam leading to significant expertise in dealing with difficult and Resistant Psychiatric disorders. He also had working experience in Private hospitals including Mahaveer Hospitals , Deccan Hospitals and Rainbow hospitals. He was also a Speaker at Psychiatry conferences and CME'S including International conferences(WPA,WASP) , National, Zonal and state level conferences. He had research interest and had publications in Peer reviewed journals and had authored chapters in one of the Reputed textbook of Psychiatry.
