My Mother Smt. B.V.Ramani was diagnosed by Carcinoma Endometrium Stage IV, spread into her left Para Aortic Lymph Nodes in 2015. She had extremely severe pain as the swelled node compresses the nerve at L2 -L3 region. Pain was so severe that my mother who was ever active, strong, highly optimistic and cheerful used to cry for hours together. The cancer was inoperable as it was very close to Aorta. All the doctors whom we met said that there is no hope and she had a couple of months left, with her quality of life degrading steadily. After the first meeting with him my mother's confidence rejuvenated to great extent and her fighting spirit was bolstered. She gone through 6 chemotheraphys and 10 sittings of radiation. His support during the treatment was invaluable. After using his medication, pain reduced to good extent and he was always ready to help us even at the odd hours of the day. He spoke to her for long time in each appointment and ensured that she is mentally strong. He treated her not like a patient but like a family member. We haven't seen a doctor so humane, humbled and yet highly skilled in his profession. My mother passed away recently on June 8th 2017 nevertheless she had no trace of despondency at any point of time for which most of the credit should go to Praveen Sir's effort. May God bless him
