Dr. Srinivas Singisetti

Dr. Srinivas Singisetti says "I am a consultant psychiatrist, currently based in Visakhapatnam. I run clinics at the Apollo hospitals in Visakhapatnam.I completed my MBBS and internship at MKCG Medical college in Berhampur, Orissa. I initially started my psychiatry career as an MD psychiatry graduate at the Institute of medical sciences, Banaras Hindu University; and later joined the MD psychiatry course at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuroscience (NIMHANS), Bangalore, and completed the same in 2002. After briefly working as senior resident and senior research officer in psychiatry in NIMHANS, I moved to the United Kingdom (UK). I completed my training as a senior house officer and senior registrar in psychiatry in the UK, obtaining MRCPsych in 2007, and CCST (General Adult and Addiction Psychiatry) in 2010. Thereafter, I worked as a consultant psychiatrist in the National Health Service UK. In 2017, I moved back to India, to pursue my passion of practicing psychiatry in my home country. I am a member of the Indian psychiatric society and the Royal college of psychiatrists, UK, and maintain professional and academic activities in India and the UK."
