Dr. Nanda Kishore Panigrahi is a cardiologist in Visakhapatnam with 40 years of practice. He is senior consultant and interventional cardiologist at Apollo Health City in Arilova. He has earlier been a fellow in interventional cardiology at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad, lecturer in cardiology and in medicine at VSS Medical College, Sambalpur, senior research fellow with the CSIR, and assistant surgeon at the zonal hospital in Malkangiri.He completed his MBBS at Sambalpur University in 1986, his MD in General Medicine in 1990 and his DM in Cardiology in 1994, all from the same university. He has been registered with the Andhra Pradesh Medical Council since 2000 and is a member of the Indian College of Cardiology and the Cardiological Society of India.His work covers coronary, carotid and peripheral angiography, angioplasty and stenting, cardiac catheterisation, pacemaker implantation, irregular heartbeat, hypertension, rheumatic heart disease, chest pain, cardiovascular emergency care and cardiac rehabilitation.
