Dr. Kshitij Mody

Dr Kshitij Mody completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the illustrious Sancheti Institute in Pune which is considered one of the few highly specialised centres of orthopaedics in the country. After completing his post graduate training, he traveled to various national and international centres of excellence, including the world famous Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, for further specialisation and fellowships. These visitations have contributed towards broadening his vision for high-end healthcare delivery. Perhaps, more importantly, he has taken on the responsibility of contributing in the management of a leading 110 bedded, super-speciality hospital - Welcare hospital, established by his family. Thus, quite early on in his career he has found the opportunity and challenge to learn, internalise, ideate and implement innovative and state-of-the-art patient treatment protocols which are benchmarked at the international level.Dr Kshitij Mody has successfully defended one thesis and authored various scientific research publications which have been published in international peer reviewed journals. He is also on the board of reviewers for various international journals. Moreover, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the Asia-Pacific Arthroplasty Society (APAS) Global Newsletter - the youngest surgeon to have held this position in the history of the organisation.
