Dr. Avadh Lalpuriya

I am 30+ years old, female and had a terrible shape of my teeth. Both lower and upper jaw were protruded and looked bad. I could not smile.

The problem was there since my childhood but I could never go for a treatment because the charges were high or the doctor was unfriendly and never made me feel easy.

After enough was enough I was concerned about the way I look and searched for an orthodontist in Vadodara. Dr. Lalpuria's name appeared on the screen. I shortlisted others but once I visited his clinic, I never found the need to go to other dentists/orthodontists. He earned my trust.

The doctor was extremely gentle and patient.

He studied the teeth pattern in details and gave me assurance.

The best part I liked about him is he never gave me false hope. He told me that my bones are now matured and the treatment could take longer than usual, but he was also hopeful that ideally it should not take more than 8 months but more time might be needed.

I was ready to spend any amount of time given my teeth was completely set.

he also ensured that I don't have any other gum or tooth problems before the treatment began. So, he cleaned my teeth and closely observed it and also took an x-ray to see the roots were fine. Only after he was 100% sure that my jaws are good for the treatment and I have no other problem he gave a green signal to go ahead.

The treatment started on 13th September 2018, on Ganesh Chaturthi. He took the moulds to study and involved another orthodontist friend to collaborate and give me fine results because mine was a serious case.

In next 2 days, he called me again. This time he & his collaborator were present to put the braces.

It took near about 1:30 hrs for the entire procedure, for both jaws - upper and lower. Throughout they ensured I was feeling comfortable. And they had advanced machines to balance the saliva secretion and keep my open mouth humid. I was surprised.

I had no pain and was totally comfortable during the first instance.

I am writing the feedback in February, 2019, just after 6 months. And I am in the last stage of the treatment.

I can't say how happy I am to see how I look now. I gave up completely on my teeth. Even people told me how their treatment took years but even after that the problem persists.

Most likely my braces will be out next month.

Another best thing I liked is that, after reaching a certain stage, the doctor lets the patient decide whether he/she is happy or needs more improvement.

In my case, I am happy but I might go for another stage of treatment. And it's my choice. It is only Dr. Lalpuriya who gives his patients a choice and waits for their decision.

I have also been told that there will be a protective wire at the backside of the teeth to help them stay in the same position. This is unique and I have never heard any other people in my acquaintance have this done by their doctors.

So, I want to share my wonderful experience with others so they can be benefitted. I encourage everyone to contact me and view images and moulds to understand what I was and what I have become.

And yes, there is nothing I want the doctor to improve. He is already doing everything great. I recommend him 200% times to everyone.

In fact, I have brought my mother and friends to him. He is now my family dentist.

Doc was frndly n polite.

The prob was explain to me and the solution was quick.

The treatment was done n now I don't have any prob in my teeth.
