I had observed a case of 35-year-old male who was friend a mine who had a glass-cut injury to the right index finger. Although he had received primary wound care elsewhere, he later developed inability to move the finger and presented to our OPD. We were counselled regarding the suspected tendon and nerve injury and the need for surgery.

On surgical exploration, multiple flexor tendon injuries, a median nerve injury, and injuries to small arteries and veins were identified and repaired. Postoperatively, he received appropriate wound care, hand positioning advice, and we were counselled regarding rehabilitation and gradual recovery.
