Hello everyone,
I took a diet plan from Balcal Nutrefy for a month. My main goals were to lose weight and improve my energy levels.
My plan was designed very well keeping the above goals in mind. The dietician Aditi explained me the scientific composition of my diet and helped my understand the importance of each element in the diet plan. She also monitored my performance with frequent weight checks and regular updates on my daily food intake which I had to submit to them. This helped my keep track of the implementation of the diet plan and correct deviations, if any. We had weekly calls to ensure that I was able to follow the diet plan. The plan was not very difficult and while I could follow it only about 90%, it was good enough to give me results immediately. I could lose around 6 kgs in a month which was quite encouraging for me. I was also able to lose fat around the waist region which had earlier become a problem for me.
But apart from the fat / weight loss, the diet plan helped me appreciate the value of protein in my daily intake and its importance in building muscle. My dietician had mentioned in our sessions that protein intake will help me build muscle in the body. So I continued to consume protein as recommended to me. Slowly, the benefits started to show in unexpected ways.
I have been a regular long-distance runner since many years and, of late, I had experienced pain in my left knee after every run. Despite a lot of efforts, I was not able to eliminate it fully. However, a month after following this diet plan, I was stunned to notice that the pain had gradually disappeared. I realised that the only thing different in my daily routine was the fact that I had been consciously consuming a lot of protein only because of the diet plan. It was evident that the increased protein intake had contributed to the repair and recovery of muscle tissue in my knees. This was a totally unexpected benefit of the plan! It enabled me to run better and longer distances and stay free of injury.
So a hearfelt thanks to Balcal Nutrefy, Pradnya and Aditi for a diet plan that not only helped me lose weight / fat but also become more aware of my food choices and its implications.

I am truly grateful to my dieticians, Ms. Pradnya Padhye and Ms. Nivedi Chavan, for their guidance and support on my health journey. Before consulting them, I was under the impression that “diet” meant eating something fancy in fixed portions at strictly defined intervals – something I thought would be very difficult to manage as a working woman. However, they completely changed my perspective.
