Leg pain, left leg

18, female, leg pain. Going on a least 6 months, probably more like 9, of pain in legs starting at body trunk and going down the back of my leg. It feels like when you stand up after sitting for a long time and you stand up quickly. That tight, lighted headed feeling, but in my leg. The only difference is its much more intense and it throbs, but not a pulled muscle, i had a few and this feels different. The pain goes all the way down to my lower calf, about half way down. The pain doesn't go away unless i bend my leg into just the just spot, especially if i'm sitting or laying down. The pain comes when i stand up from anything, sleeping, watching TV, sitting at a desk. Could it really just be a badly pulled muscle or is it more serious?

Getting pain while walking below knee

Hi, This is Vinay Reddy from Hyderabad. I have a problem reg : 1. I walk & do Jogging regularly in the morning about 10 kms daily. While walking I get pain and cannot walk. We contacted some of the top rated physiotherapist from Practo, but we were not much satisfied with their approach and professionalism during their first session itself. Lastly our search ended up with Dr Uthra Mohan. *** ** **** ************* *** experienced physiotherapist with balanced professional and personal approach towards patients. Dr Mohan took care of my mother about a month with daily exercise session. The sessions were extremely useful to recover strength soon. I fell while alighting from train and injured my left leg. Due to severe pain, I couldn't bear weight on that leg. I consulted 2 orthopaedicians and local physiotherapist; but did not get relief in sym I fell while alighting from train and injured my left leg. Due to severe pain, I couldn't bear weight on that leg. I consulted 2 orthopaedicians and local physiotherapist; but did not get relief in symptoms. I continued to walk with a limp.
On recommendation by a known person, I consulted Dr. Uthra. After examining my leg, she clearly explained the diagnosis and treatment plan. She treated me with ultrasound and exercises. With progress in my recovery, she varied the exercises to improve my muscle strength. I'm thankful to Dr. Uthra for restoring my ability to walk properly and painfree. Her calm approach and positive attitude towards patients is commendable.
I highly recommend her for treatment of all kinds of orthopedic injuries.

Dr. Uthra Mohan is a very good physio. She has a calm approach to get rid of the 'cause of discomfort' instead of quick-fix temporary solutions. My experiences:

Dr. Uthra Mohan is a very good physio. She has a calm approach to get rid of the 'cause of discomfort' instead of quick-fix temporary solutions. My experiences:
Post delivery, my abdomen and back muscles were weak. My old problem of back spasms would recur often. Dr. Uthra treated me with IFT and exercises. She corrected my posture, methods of carrying my baby and taught exercise progressions to strengthen my muscles. I have been free of back pain since then.
On another occasion, I approached Dr. Uthra for plantar fasciitis. She treated the problem with ultrasound, stretching and strengthening exercises. She gave me tips to select the right shoes and simple home remedies for excess pain.
