Dr. Karishma Keswani (Physiotherapist)

I was 25 when I met with a road traffic accident in January 2014. In the accident, I sustained a spinal cord injury (thoracic level) and multiple rib fracture with a lung puncture. I was paralysed chest down. After being in ICU for three months, I was shifted to Jupiter hospital mainly for physiotherapy. I was admitted there for another 3 months.

When Dr. Karishma started seeing me for physiotherapy at Jupiter hospital, I couldn’t sit on the edge of the bed for more than 5 minutes. I needed to put on a spinal brace every time before sitting (post-surgery care). So a physiotherapist would help me wear that brace. Back then, my skin had become so delicate that it used to hurt while putting that brace on. But not with Dr. Karishma – she would do it so carefully that it rarely hurt. That’s when I realised this girl has a good technique.

Having been through a surgery and some dreadful medical procedures, I was turned into a frightened little kid. I used to get anxious whenever physiotherapists helped me stand. I would think of all the negative outcomes. Even with Karishma, I remember being nervous for the first two-three times. But, while standing, the way she would single-handedly balance my body by holding me from behind, it just made me trust her. I remember once calling her ‘lady Akshay Kumar’.

Her motto is to make her patients independent as early as possible and that was reflected in the physiotherapy sessions.***** *** ******* ********* ** *** ***** ** I knew I was in good hands.

I’m continuing my physiotherapy at home (Nagpur) now. But whenever I need some clarity, I bug her.

What started off as the most scariest time of my life eventually went on to becoming one of the most encouraging times with the help and support of the people around me.

They include Dr. Karishma, my Neuro Physiotherapist.

To start with, she was very courteous and equally approachable which made it not just easy but also comfortable being around her. She has a very warm vibe and makes sure to understand your problem before explaining not just the line of treatment, but by being a proactive part of it. One can tell the difference almost instantly!

During my initial days of diagnosis, I visited a different doctor for my digital stimulation on the face. This was by far, the most awful medical experience of my life. However, with Dr. Karishma things took a turn for the better when I started taking her sessions. My neurologist had advised that it would take a minimum of 6-8weeks before I start seeing any signs of recovery, but with Dr. Karishma's therapy I take pride in saying that I have recovered 80% and only in a matter of 3 weeks of therapy!

This is a testament in itself to her way of treating patients and their problems alike.

On this note I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs neuro physiotherapy.

Karishma is a **** ************* *** sincere doctor.

She has been treating my daughter for a year now.

She is not only competent but also very patient and empathetic.

She wants and strives to get the **** result from her patients and will push them to their full capacity.

She has not only worked on the nuero recovery for my daughter but has taken in on herself to remove her fear of standing and walking as well.

I am very thankful to her and wish her the best in her career.

Truly appreciate as had a wonderful experience in watching my mom showing better movements post every Physio session with Karishma and Paulomi. I visited Dr. Karishma for Bells Palsy treatment. I was of low hope before visiting her, but after meeting her, I was sure that she can cure it completely. I saw improvement in each physiotherapy session. She is very intelligent and know which nerve should be stimulated. I recommend her from my own experience. Moreover she is very friendly and will always motivate you for positivity. Her guidance and advice for excercise helped me a lot in recovering completely from Bells Palsy. I am 77years old male, suffered hip. bone fracture in March 2017 and and implant was placed but some how progress was not satisfactory.Unfortunately I had second falI in 2018 resulting in a right hip bone fracture.The treat ment included medicine and physiotherapy.Again results were below par . Since last 3month Dr Karishma Keswani is taking care of me and I am satisfied with the pr ogress made. She has good grasp of the problem and able to correlate with my Neuro problem s,she is systematic punctual,polite and confident of solving problem.

We have known Dr Karishma since 2014 which is when my father in law (Mr. Satish Sule) suffered a stroke. She has played a key role in my father in law's health improvement. She has been patient, friendly yet strict when required. She has handles his at times difficult behaviour with a lot of care and tact. She has also taken time out to patiently answer any queries that we as family may have had over the years. She has almost become like a family member to my in laws apart from being his physiotherapist. She is very professional to deal with. We are very happy to have met Dr. Karishma and would highly recommend her treatment to any patient.

My mother had a stroke a month ago which left her left side immobile. Dr Karishma's Professional , practical approach, thoroughness in her area of expertise is helping my mom recover quicker than what we anticipated. In the first visit Dr. went through my mom’s discharge file , checked my mom and explained to how she would go about it. What I like the most is Dr’s ability to boost my mother’s confidence by providing explanations in a very logical manner and putting my mom’s fears to rest. Within a few sessions of physiotherapy, Dr. Karishma made my mother sit, stand (with support) and today she made my mom sit on the wheelchair. My mom didn’t experience any pain! Dr. observes my mom's response carefully and then decides on subsequent exercises. My mom is on dialysis and Dr's visits are planned according to the same. This also has been very helpful to us.

My Experience with Dr. Karishma, Dr. Priyanka & The Rise Network Team had been very fruitful. I & my husband visited Rise with my mother in-law who is affected with Dementia.

Dr. Karishma understood the case and spoke the patient very well and gave her few excerise to do.

Dr. Karishma with her team suggested few simple , easy excerises to practice at home that will help her be a little better and active.

My father is a brain stroke survivor & his left part of the body is paralysed. For couple of years he was getting his physiotherapy from multiple people but with hardly any improvement.
