When a patient walks in to meet the doctor, usually any doctor asks the patient about the problem and then goes on to diagnose. **** ******* ******* ****** ******** ** *** **** ****** ** ** ******* *** **** ******* **** * *** **** **** ******* When I gave him the report, he started going through it *** **** ********** **** ** ** *** ** ****** *** **** *** **** **** ***** Then he asks something which I could not hear properly because he was talking in a very low voice, ** * ***** *** * ******* ** **** **** ****** **** ** *********** **** ** ** ** ** ** ******** **** ** **** ***** ******* **** * *** *** ****** **** ***** * ***** *** ** *** **** * ******* **** *** *** ****** **** ********** ** ******** ******* ** ** ****** ****** I just asked him to speak louder so that I can understand what he is asking.

Anyway, affer that he started going through my reports and said I need to start obesity medicine and those specific medicines are costly. He asked if he should prescribe them because if not, then he will write in the prescription that he advised the obesity medicines but I refused *** ******* *** ****** ** *** ** ** ***** ** *** ********** I didnt want to argue..so I said ok write it. Then he checked my stomach and chest with his hand and stethescope and said ok come and sit at the desk and again started talking about prescribing the obesity pills. **** **** ** ****** **** ** *** ******* ****** i told him Dr...this is not what I came to you for. I have some other problem , you didnt even ask me what problem i was having. He said he is a doctor that looks after obesity and related problems. So I told him i called and asked your staff if you would look in to my kind of problems and they said yes. Even the doctor then said, ofcourse I am a physician and I can diagnose any ailment. So then I told him what my problem was and then he just saw it ************* for a second and said its nothing. Now do you want to start those obesity medicines, it is essential for me etc. I again tried to bring him back to my problem because i felt he had not heard me fully *** *** **** ******* ********* I wanted to tell him that the history of the problem, the locations etc *** ** **** ****** ** *** ** ******* ** ******* ********** * *** ******* ****** ** **** ***** ***** ** ***** *** ****** *** *** **** ***** ** ** **** * ** ****** ***** *** *** **** ** ** ****** ** ** ** *** *** ** ** * ************ *** *** **** *** ** *** *** * **** ** **** ** *** **** * **** **** * *** *** **** *** * *** *** *** ******** ****** * **** *** *** *** *** **** *** ** ** ******* *** **** ******* ******* ******** *** **** *** *********** ********* *** ******* ** *** ******* *** ***** * *** **** ********** this was my first bad experience with a doctor. Never seen anyone like him before. *** ************ *** **** * ****** ** *** *** *** ********* *** **** *** *** **** ** *** ** **** ***** *** ***** **** ********* **** ****** ** ****** *** ********* ********* I left from there as I understood there is not point being here in this clinic.

After wasting 1000 rs on this doctor, I saw a dermatologist the same day, ** ********** **** ********* *** *** ******* ***** * *** *** * **** ****** ***** *****

I am never visiting this doctor again and I would never recommend him to anyone.

I am V Gangadharan, 59 old male patient of Dr Alok Modi. I was admitted with covid 19 in May 2021. I was in ICU and in hospital for totally 2 months.

I was very critical on ventilatory support and managed by Dr Alok Modi entirely with his team working under him for the entire period of 2 months. My family was told that I would not go back home as my lungs were totally damaged with covid, but Dr Alok Modi worked very hard on me, used to come at 1 am in the night also at times to check me and literally pulled me out from the jaws of death.

After covid I had become very weak and my muscles had gone totally. I was discharged on oxygen concentrator at home. I was on oxygen concentrator for another one month after discharge. I would come to Kevalya hospital in ambulance on oxygen to follow up with Dr Alok Modi, that is how bad my condition was.

Today I am off oxygen, doing very well, my muscles have picked up nicely, I am able to do so many activities comfortably now, yet not fully recovered , but I am alive and much much better thanks to Dr Alok Modi and his team working under him.

I stay at Devdarshan Phase I near Waghbil, Godhbunder road.

I want to say that Dr Alok Modi has given me a "Punarjanama" and is like God to me on this planet. I am alive today due to his dedication and hard work.

Dr Alok Modi is very polite and understanding, at time he is harsh but with the idea of helping me recover, a very friendly and very nice human being.

I can never thank him enough for sending me back from the jaws of death>

I was diagnosed with covid +ve report in Apr 2021. I contacted Dr Alok Modi and had couple of vide consultations with him as I was +ve and then I recovered and came to show him at Kevalya hospital today on May 18 2021.

I was managed at home quarantine only through Dr Alok Modi. I did not require to be admitted at any covid hospital for consultation or treatment.

I came to know of Dr Alok Modi through my boss Mr Naranjan Kumar , he is ABPM VP in Logistics in my company.

Dr Alok Modi proactively stopped steroids which were wrongly prescribed to me by another medical practitioner and I am happy that i did not land up with any post covid complications like mucormycosis that many patients are dying with today.

In medical field, consultancy and advocacy is very important in my opinion and I found this very much in Dr Alok Modi and I appreciated that. I appreciate that Dr Modi got angry also with me and that has saved my life because he insisted that i follow international protocols which has kept me alive today.

I had brought my father Mr. Suresh Wadodkar to Kevalya hospital on Dec 28, 2019. He had become serious in the house, and we took Dr Alok Modi for a home visit on emergency basis. Since he was serious, Dr Modi volunteered his own car and we dint wait for an ambulance and brought him in Modi sir’s car and got him admitted in emergency in Kevalya hospital. His sugars were very low, and he had become critical. We stay in Vijay Vilas, Taurus society, close to Kevalya hospital.

I am really grateful to Alok sir for visiting at my house immediately in such a critical condition and brought my father back to life, now my father is cheerful and bac to normal senses. Dr gave me lot of clarity and transparency in his advice, about medications and line of treatment. Very happy with the friendly nature and temperament of Dr Alok Modi. Never gets angry even if we ask him many questions.

Hospital has all facilities running for 24 hours, and nephrologist visit was arranged immediately, and everything was smoothly covered with cashless. 24 hours availability of doctors, superspecialists, pathology, x ray, very smooth process.

Nursing staff and Kevalya hospital staff are good, friendly, and skilled in their work. Housekeeping is very friendly and hospital is neat and clean.

My mother is Naseem Shaikh. We stay at Mumbra. My mother is suffering from diabetes since 2 years. We came to Dr Alok Modi through recommendation by practo reviews. My mother was obese, diabetes was not coming under control and Dr Alok Modi could get everything under control. Even medicines for diabetes have been significantly reduced. She ahs lost weight after a lot of coaching and lifestyle guidance and diet advice given by him and his team and I am happy to say that my mother is eating well and doing well with good control

She has also undergone uterus removal at Kevalya hospital by his hospital gynecologist and has been discharged comfortably.

Kevalya hospital is neat and clean, staff is very friendly comfortable and cashless facilities are very easy and proper guidance we got. That is why we come all the way from Mumbra over here regularly.

Dr Alok Modi gives in detail guidance, friendly nature, holistic view about all the health problems, not only related to diabetes, gives very patient pocket friendly advices and treatment.

I am suffering from diabetes mellitus and blood pressure and obesity since 2 years. I came for second opinion to Dr Alok Modi based on google reviews. I stay at highland residency at Dhokali Thane. I have been put under fitterfry program under advice of Dr Alok Modi and he has changed my diabetes and blood pressure medicines. In fact, he has reduced my medicines significantly and now I feel much better thanks to fitter fry program and his treatment.

Now my sugars and blood pressure is under very good control within a short span of time , in spite of reduced medications and I have lost two kilos, now as per my wife, my snoring has reduced nicely and now I am on proper diet which I relish also. My husband Mr S G Iyer was admitted on May 10 2021 in the ICU at Kevalya hospital. He is a patient with advanced kidney and heart failure with diabetes mellitus and is under regular treatment at Jupiter hospital. We came to Kevalya ICU as there were no beds available in Jupiter due to pandemic. He recovered well and was discharged on May 18 2021 under the are of Dr Alok Modi.

My experience here has been extremely satisfying and very good. When I came here my husband was in a critical condition and beds not being available anywhere in Thane, Kevalya hospital and Dr Alok Modi has been a God send for me , because the moment i came here Dr Modi came here immediately in 10-25 mins and before that itself the essential treatment which was need for my husband was already started by the ICU staff and team. Dr Modi reassured me thereby putting me at ease.

He was very critical but he has had a very good recovery and today when we are following up with him for consultation at Kevalya , he is in his very good spirits and that gives me immense satisfaction.

Hospital is clean and staff is cordial very much.

My sister Roshni Patel was admitted at Kevalya hospital on May 8 2020 under Dr Alok Modi. She has having a bad typhoid infection and requited to stay in hospital for 6 days.

Dr Alok Modi is a nice compassionate doctor, spends enough time with my sister and relatives. Has become very friendly with my father and my father has promised to take him to his shop for a tour. We had a very good experience at Kevalya hospital. Nursing staff is very good, takes very good care and is available whenever you call the doctor or the nurses. Cleanliness is excellent and they clean the hospital very regularly. Sanitization is excellent.

Many hospital are shut due to corvid situation in Thane but we found that Kevalya hospital is taking non covid patients and giving excellent services to their patients.

Heartily recommend Kevalya hospital and Dr Alok Modi as the best in Godhbunder road in Thane.

P.S. I did not have insurance but my sister was given very reasonable bills

I am the nephew of Mr Mahadev Sharma, He is Dr Alok Modi's patient. I flew from Bangalore to attend to my uncle and to meet Dr Alok Modi.

When I entered the hospital, i found it very clean, the front desk was friendly, when i asked for the reports, they asked me to sit and immediately gave the reports. When i looked around, it is not a small clinic it has ICU, it has an operation theatre, has a laboratory has a medical store, in short it is a complete hospital. As soon as my uncle and we gave the file, there was a nurse who took his blood pressure and other parameters. This I liked very much.

After 5 ins we were called in and when i met Dr Alok Modi, he saw the reports, i had a few doubts which he clarified and I was happy about it.

Speaking about the doctor, his attitude was very good towards the patent and me. His explanation was very friendly. i think it is very important to have a friendly conversation with the patient and he explained the weakness in a very nice way.

My Name is Shashidhar Menon. I was admitted in Kevalya hospital ICU on Jul 27, 2019, and discharged on Aug 2, 2019. I was in a bad condition and hence was admitted in ICU. I had bad kidney infection with uncontrolled diabetes and kidney failure. My creatinine was 4 on admission. I was kept and managed on multiple antibiotics and kidney drugs and insulin drip as my sugars were out of control. I recovered well, thanks to Dr Alok Modi whom we know personally as he is also my mother's old doctor. Today my creatinine is 1.4 without dialysis and I am doing very well.

Hospital is very neat and clean, nursing staff is very cooperative and my costs were covered by cashless. I have yet to find Dr like mr Alok Modi and I am fully satisfied with the treatment. I come all the way from Mira road to take his treatment.

Now 4 months are over after discharge. I am writing this review again as my sugars are very good control, my health has improved very nicely and I feel energetic in my work. Happy to come back to meet Dr Alok Modi at Kevalya hospital again.
