Jupiter Hospital, Thane West

My daughter is suffering from diarrhoea since a month, I shifted two hospital as there was no improvement.

I heard that Dimple jain is the best paediatric in Thane hence I took her to Jupiter hospital. 1st few days they performed few tests like blood, urine n stool test which i am guessing were normal because we were restricted to see the reports as per hospital protocol.

If a parent needs to see their own kids report, we need to pay charges for that.

On 3rd night, we were informed that endoscopy n colonoscopy needs to be done and we should pay 44k. We had cashless mediclaim but still they wanted us to pay in cash because they couldn’t wait till morning when TPA opens up.

Due to urgency, we had to pay cash.

Doctor informed there is slight swelling n ulcer which can be cured *** ** ******** *** ***** ********** ******* ** **** ***** ****** **** ***** *** *** *

The nursing staff were unprofessional, **** ***** **** *** ** **** ***** ********. I did observe how they **** ** *** ****** *** *** not help mothers at all. After multiple requests, they used to get up n say “babies always cry, what can we do.”

This is not professional. At least help the parents to calm the baby. There were so many instances. Nurses were not literate and rude. ********* ****** **** ************ *******

Anyway, one syrup was given everyday and IV was removed as baby started eating n drinking *** **** **** **** **** ********* ** *** ***** ********* ******* *** ***** *** **** One night, staff came at 11.30 pm asking for signature to do biofire test which costs 20k, they don’t even explain why it is required and how it’s done. We asked for time till morning as we wanted to know if it will be covered under mediclaim n me being alone in hospital I couldn’t take the decision. Suddenly doctor called on Friday and said she is not available for the weekend so you can take discharge. We questioned on what basis should we take discharge, she got offended and said that we were not ready to do tests when clearly we only asked to give us some time.

Biofire test was done on Saturday and again doctor called late night n told their assistance to discharge us. We said no ******* ***** *** ** ****** ** **** *******

On Monday, Dimple Jain came n started shouting, she spoke in such rude manner that why you did not take discharge, falsely blaming us for feeding our baby with bottle which was hardly the case. Also said that il not treat her. And she told nurses to keep eye on us and throw the bottle. What kind of thing is this?

There is a proper way to convey things, if she could have said that you take discharge, il give medicines so we can continue treatment from home then it was understandable but nothing such sort of,

Only n number of doctor used to come and ask how many times she pooped, that’s all,

Dimple Jain, you should have been gentle and made it easier for a parent in such stressful situation, I have been seeing my baby suffer since a month, you should have been more clear with your message and shown sympathy, this wasn’t the correct way.** ******* ****** ********* *** ******* *** **** **** *** * ***** ******* ** ** *** **** **** ** :(

Even during discharge, staff troubled us with incorrect billing and paper work. We had to wait till 11.00 pm for final billing. We told them it’s too late to travel with small baby, they asked to pay extra charges to stay overnight wherein we had already paid bed charges for that day which is valid till next day 11.00 am.

I cannot recommend Jupiter hospital ******* * *** *** **** ** ****** **** ***** ****** **** **** ****** **** ** ****** ********* ****** *** ********, * ***** *** ******* ***** *********** ** **** ********* ***** ** *** ****** *** ** ***** *** ********* ********

It was a very good experience with the doctor and appreciate about the explanation by her and the time which is given by the doctor... Really helpful and supportive... Hope my baby gets well soon... Insha allah...
