Dr. Somnath Chattopadhyay

Dr Somnath Chattopadhyay has trained and worked at premier institutes such as Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi (2009-2012); University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, USA (2012-14) and Global Hospitals , Mumbai (2014-17) . He has a vast experience of more than 8 years in the field of Hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeries and Liver transplantation and has been a part of/performed more than 500 liver transplants and 200 kidney transplants. He has presented in many national and international conferences and published in peer reviewed international journals.Special Interests: Living donor liver transplantation, Pancreas transplantation, Complex hepato -pancreato-biliary surgeries, Innovative strategies in liver transplantation like ABO incompatible liver transplants, auxiliary liver transplants, dual lobe liver transplants, domino liver transplants and swap liver transplants.
