"Dr. Praveen Kammar completed his MCh in Surgical Oncology from Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, followed by a fellowship in GI-Colorectal Surgery from the same institute and a fellowship in Colorectal Surgery from Yonsei Cancer Centre, Seoul, South Korea. His main areas of focus are Colorectal and GI Oncology, Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery for abdominal and thoracic malignancies, Trans Anal and Sphincter-Saving Surgery for rectal cancer, and Cytoreductive Surgery with HIPEC for advanced abdominal cancers. He has a keen research interest in Peritoneal Malignancy and Colorectal Cancer, and helped set up the database for the Asian Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Group in India."
