Dr. Prajakta Deshpande

Dr. Prajakta Deshpande completed her graduation from Government Medical College Nanded with a gold medal in ophthalmology to her credit. After completing her post graduation from RGUHS University Bangalore in 2003, She completed her long-term Fellowship in Anterior Segment Microsurgery including phacoemulsification from the world renowned Aravind Eye Hospital Madurai from 2004 to 2006. At the end of her fellowship, She was selected as a PhacoTrainer to train postgraduates, short term Phaco Trainees & Number of Overseas Trainees too. She is known for finest surgical skills & has performed more than 15000 cataract surgeries & 2000 Lasik Surgeries till date. She has attended a number of National & International Conferences. She is a member of Bombay Ophthalmic Association & Maharashtra Ophthalmic Association.
