It’s sad that the team running the clinic is so un organised that one doesn’t feel like visiting this place even the doctor is good. I had to book my appointment via Practo only because I couldn’t deal with the inefficiency. A simple appointment couldn’t be booked by them.
What really drove me over the edge was the fact that on my follow up visit yesterday I was about to be charged a first consultation fee. On asking why, they said that I had to visit the doctor exactly in 20 days and if I fail to do so I will charged extra. I Enquired as to why this so called rule or policy wasn’t informed to me on my first visit to which Sonali the staff there became high tempered and quote unquote said “did you ask me? Did you tell me that you are going out of town and So cannot come?” How is a patient supposed to randomly ask about policies . Patients are supposed to be informed of them. And for an unscheduled appointment since when has it become pertinent to call up and inform that I’m going out of town. This is totally unheard of and quite unnatural. Firstly there is a high fee of 400₹ for a follow. (First consult is 500₹) and then to top it there is a validity for it. I also asked that if this was such an important rule why isn’t this written on my prescriptions or put up in the clinic? What’s with the secrecy. And how in the world is a patient supposed to ever think of such a policy and ask about it?
Don’t get me wrong I was all ready to clear off my dues but the sheer talking down and disrespect shown by the staff is what broke my last straw.
On informing the doctor in a kind manner, unfortunately the doctor too was ok with losing me as their patient but didn’t show an effort to resolve the issue. My concern and complaint was. “Noted” and a take care sign off that sadly meant it’s ok if you don’t visit us again. Very sad indeed as I genuinely liked the doctor but don’t believe they are interested in customer or patients grievances but only focused on their own team member. A classic case of a team that is combined bringing the name of this doctor down.
I’ve visited Dr. Nikita Patel twice, and she’s always patient and gives thorough guidance. The clinic staff is helpful, but waiting times can be long, especially for senior citizens. I recommend Dr. Nikita to friends, and they’ve had good results.
