Dr. Sohan Barhate

I was suffering from De Quervain's Tenosynovitis in left wrist for almost 2 years.

De Quervain's Tenosynovitis is a painful inflammation of tendons and it's protective sheath in the thumb that extend to the wrist. The swollen tendons and their coverings rub against the narrow tunnel through which they pass causing pain at the base of the thumb and into the lower arm.

It was so painful that it hampered my day to day life i.e. I was unable to do my day to day household, cooking, traveling etc. Holding anything by left hand was nightmare upto extent that it was even difficult to open door nobs.

I tried all medications & methods to reduce pain & inflammation but it didn't help. So, Dr.Sohan Barhate recommended me to undergo surgery which is very rarely done. But he explained me in detailed that how operation would release the tendon’s tight covering so that the tendon will move smoothly and I will be relieved from pain. ‌

And believe me Dr.Sohan Barhate operated so nicely that it has not only relieved me. from the pain but now I can do all the things swiftly by my left hand as earlier. I am very very grateful to Dr.Sohan Barhate.
