My father was admitted for Mediastinal Mass Excision. After surgery Dr. Navin kept telling my family that he has removed the complete mediastinal mass ***** *** ***** ****** ********** **** But he showed us the removed mass in a petri dish, *** ** *** ****** * *** My mother, and Aunt kept asking how can it be so small compared to the scan reports but Dr. Navin said and i quote
"When I cut it from one end, it shrunk by 30-40% and when I cut it from the other end, it shrunk further, but there is absolutely nothing to worry about as I have removed the entire mass. The biopsy results say that it is a benign infection and there is absolutely no further treatment required."
My mother was not convinced so she got another CT scan done of my Dad's mediastinal region. *** **** *** ** ** ** ****** ** *** *** **** ******* ** **** ******* *
Dr. Navin said, and I quote, "This report is wrong, it is made by a young doctor who is still studying. I'll ask my Senior Radiologist to redo the report".
The Senior Radiologist also reported that the mediastinal mass of the exact same size is still inside, it has not been removed at all. THEN Dr. Navin said - I did not even touch the mass because it was too risky to touch it.
Well, he admitted the patient for a mediastinal mass excision, surgically removed just a lymph node****** ** * ****** ****** ********** and did its biopsy. He kept lying to us for over a month, he charged us for the mediastinal mass excision ***** ******* ******** ** *** **** ****** ******** ** *** ***** and when he was finally confronted with the Senior Radiologist's report, he changed his statement on the procedure. *** ******* **** ** ******** ********* *** *** ** *** ********* ** ** ******* **** *** ***** ** *** ***** ***** **** ***** ***** *** **** ****** *** ********
Even after this discussion, he said, most likely my dad has Vasculitis or Auto-Immune Disease. So he recommended that we visit a Hematologist - who is a blood cancer doctor and not an rheumatologist (Vasculitis Doctor).
