Usually, I do not use earbud knowing the consequences it has but somehow one day my left ear started itching so just like a fun I used the earbud to remove the dirt carefully. During the process, I injured some internal area of my ear as I put the pressure through earbud to remove the dirt. A day after that, my ear started paining,and a sticky fluid formed inside it and I couldn't hear things properly. Initially, I felt like my ear has swollen, it will go in few days and will be able to hear properly, so I did not book an appointment with ENT doctor. But after spending four days with such no progress in my ear condition, I decided to see the doctor. Therefore, I did research on internet (a simple tool I use as a part of my Business Journalism profession to understand any aspect) on why one should approach an ENT doctor in case of any injury to ear, which helped me to make up my mind to see the doctor. So, I searched for ENT specialist in Thane city on Practo and i went through all feedbacks of clients who had earlier visited Dr Kamal's clinic and accordingly I zeroed in on this doctor. Before visiting Dr Kamal, I had phobia of visiting ENT doctor as in my life I had never visited ENT doctor before and I was apprehensive about instruments. After visiting Dr Kamal, he diagnosed the problem via doing Endoscopy which in layman's term nothing but holding the instrument near patient's ear and the visuals of internal image of ear, eyes and nose are broadcast live on TV. Essentially, the Endoscopy technology helps ENT doctor to diagnose the problem. was fearful of the Endoscopy instrument thinking that it will be inserted into my left ear and will cause more pain but Dr Kamal made me comfortable by explaining how the instrument works as it is placed outside the ear. He gave me a trial to my right ear by using instrument which relaxed me and gave me confidence to go ahead with the process of diagnosing my left ear.Dr Kamal's findings showed that fungus had formed in my ear and he suggested me to go for clean up. Again another phobia of ear cleaning came into my mind but the Ear Cleaning Suction process is painless as described by him. Dr Kamal listens to your concerns, makes you feel comfortable and helps you to understand the process of diagnosing ENT problem and mind you there are very few such doctors in India. He is calm, friendly and listens to patient's ENT issues patiently, which are behavioural qualities that most patients look for in doctors.I would highly recommend Dr Kamal Ghanshamnani to people suffering from ENT issues. Dr.Kamal lent a patient ear to understand my problem and has carefully done the diagnosis and prescribed the right treatment.
