Dr. Kaberi Som

I visited Dr Som in the year 2020, was suffering from skin infection with scars all over my body. Actually I had taken treatment from many renowned doctors in Thane, but I must say that Dr Som cured me in a short time.I'm really thankful to her from the bottom of my heart.

Before prescribing medicines, madam encouraging words will cure your half of the disease as you will come to know that you are safe hands. Online consultation is easy and hassale free. Staff is very kind and will inform patient time to time in case of any change. Thank you Doctor😊

The clinic is very spacious and has ample sitting. Dr Kaberi Som listens to problems very patiently and then examines. She explained me the root cause of the problems faced and then prescribed medicines. In my opinion, she is an excellent doctor and I will certainly recommend her to all. The staff is really very arrogant though. (The lady at the reception.)

We have to take same day appointment between 11pm - 12pm for consultation at her clinic in Giri Darshan building, Thane. After getting an appointment for 6 pm, I reached 15 mins before time only to be able to meet at 7:20pm... That was a minor disappointment from what was about to follow...

Doctor did not even give us 6-7 minutes to interact with her******* **** **** **** ****** ** ** ***** ** **** ******** ** * *** ** ************She hurriedly explained the process for the application of the medicine whilst typing the prescription on her laptop... We were not even shown what prescription she wrote as we were only told to collect it from outside by the receptionist who prints it for us...

So whatever she explained, she alone understood and was quick to show us the door as she wanted to take the next patient... Did not even ****** ** ask if we understood how to apply the medication******* ** ***** *** *** *** ** ** **********

I went to her for dandruff and acne issues of my son... but the receptionist is explaining us how to use the medication on bald patches due to hairfall*** ***** *** *** **** ** *******

** *** ****** ** ********* the consultation costed Rs.1000/- and the medicine was purchased from her own pharmacy inhouse... which was for another Rs.4000/* **** ** ******** ********* ** *** ********** *** * ***** * ** ***********

1. The appointment management is really messed up as the wait period is 2+ hours even after booking appointment. This seems to be a perennial problem.

2. The reception staff is extremely rude and unsympathetic about patients.

3. When tried to discuss this with doctor, doctor hurriedly called next patient in the consulting room and ignored the discussion. This behavior is unprofessional.

Dr is excellent and has got a real safe hand, However, reception staff badly needs training. The staff doesnt know how to behave with patients. Especially a senior most reception staff is extremely arrogant and carries herself more precious than the doctor. It is this staff who makes the waiting time and waiting experience very rough.

Doctor is good. However, staff makes the face value quite negative. If you have enough patience and time, this is the best place to visit for your skin problems.

Starting with the receptionist , she told us we have to go quickly as soon as the bell rings that was not a problem, then when me and my wife went inside the doc rudlely told me to go outside as quick as possible , i went ouside as she was examining my wife constantly nagging about one thing why you r wearing tight cloths if u r coming to vist doctor( me and my wife came directly from off) ur socks stings very much ..

hardley she gave my wife 4-5 min .

Doctor's professional expertise may not be questionable but overall expense (Fee + medicine) of visit went too much beyond common expectation. *** **** ** ******** ****** ******** *** ****** ******* ***** *** ******* ******* *** *** ** Given the Covid-19 situation, the patients from poor and middle class may find it difficult to meet this requirement. ********* **** ** ***** *** ** ***** ******** In house medical store owner lacked basic empathy and courtesy. Perhaps Doc charging little more fee, but prescribing economical *** ********* medicines may prove helpful option to patients with poor economical background.

I've been her patient for last five years for various problems. A very good experience . Always get proper explanation & consultation . The doctor is very friendly & gives enough time to explain the issue & what care is to be taken. Would strongly recommend her for any dermatology problem.

It was one of my best experience consulting her. She will help the patient to make him/her understand the symptoms, reason behind the issue very calmly.. Thank you Maam!
