Dr. Haresh Dodeja

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Haresh Dodeja and his entire team at Fortis Hospital, Mulund for successfully performing my kidney transplant one year back. After undergoing dialysis for 9 years, the Kidney Transplant procedure has been truly life-changing.

Dr Dodeja has been a guiding force and has helped my father-in-law get a new life post successful kidney transplant. My father-in-law had multiple complications and co-morbid when we first met Dr Dodeja in January 2022. Before meeting Dr Dodeja, we didn’t have much idea on what to do and where to go for his best treatment. We were perplexed and were suggested multiple transplant centres including Hinduja and others by acquaintances and family. But we finally decided to get the treatment under Dr Haresh Dodeja and Dr Remi Thomas at Fortis, Mulund, as the place being nearer to our residence. This decision proved to be best decision of our life as gave another life to us. His behaviour from the beginning and speed of response by Dr Remi Thomas made us feel comfortable and believe in the treatment. They never rushed for any procedure/treatment options, in-fact my father-in-law had to be hospitalised 3-4 times before the transplant and each time he was attended with patience by both Dr Dodeja and Dr Thomas and the duo made sure his stability to the best possible state and kept guiding us for further actions. My father-in-law got operated on 29th April 2022 for a successful kidney transplant and has been keeping well after that. Dr Dodeja and Dr Thomas guided us appropriately and trained us to take best care at home and timely follow up with them ensured right adherence to the therapy. We cannot thank them enough for the care and support they have extended to us till date and the response they provide to even slightest of concern that we raise.

I would like to thank Dr Dodeja and his team for the amazing work he has done in treating my Dad. He has gone above and beyond in treating my father who is 68 years old and was suffering from prostate issues. Dr. Dodeja was able to quickly diagnose my fathers issue when he first saw him in OPD. He helped my father getting admitted to the hospital during uncertain times of COVID. He quickly assembled the right team of doctors from urologist to cardiac specialists & general physicians to make sure we leave no stone unturned in my fathers treatment. He has always suggested what he thinks is right for the patient and is a man of ethics.

I underwent a Renal Transplant last year (2018) and Dr Dodeja is my Nephrologist.
