Dr. Ashwin M Jawdekar graduated (BDS) from Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai, in 1997. He received his Master’s degree (MDS) in Pediatric Dentistry from Nair Hospital Dental College, Mumbai in 2001. He acquired MSc in Dental Public Health (with Merit) from King's College London, and Diploma in Dental Public Health (DDPH) from Royal College of Surgeons, London in 2012. He attended a Senior Dental Leadership Program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine held in Boston, USA in March 2013; wherein, he received Tony Volpe Award of the Global Child Dental Fund for his contributions and aspirations in pediatric dentistry. He is also designated as a ‘Global Ambassador for the Global Child Dental Fund’.He was a guest editor for the special issue on "Oral Health Promotion in Infants and Children: Models and Long-term Effectiveness" of International Journal of Dentistry.He was a state coordinator for a Ministry of Health, Government of India project “Assessment of Safety Profiles for Dental Procedures in India” in the year 2008-09.His current position is Professor in the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at Dr. GD Pol Foundation’s YMT Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai (under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences), India. He has more than 13 years of teaching experience in various dental schools in India.He has been practicing pediatric dentistry for more than 12 years at Little Smiles, Thane (India), an ISO certified dental care center for children. He has won the Famdent Highly Commended Pedodontist Of The Year Award in 2013. He has also won the Dentist Excellence Award 2015 of IDRR at Bangalore.

My 5 year old daughter's tooth was decayed and root canal was suggested and for that I was told that my child has to admit to the hospital and she will have to undergo local anesthesia. I was in dilema about how an anesthesia will be administer to such a small child and as to whether it is safe to do that? However, when i visited my family doctor he has suggested to meet Dr. Jawdekar. I explained Dr. Jawdekar about my past experiences, advises and procedures suggested by other Pedodentists. I was more concern about my child. But after meeting Dr. Jawdekar, he suggested that complete anesthesia is not at all necessary and he will handled the case. As advised my child is not completed all her procedures under Dr. Jawdekar and i am fully satisfied with his service. he is a through gentlemen. I am also taking treatment for my elder daughter under Dr. Jawdekar. Dr. Jawdekar is really a sincere and reliable doctor. .

In this age of hyper commercialisation of medical care, Dr Jawdekar stands out as he is a genuine, caring and highly professional, unlike many other in his fraternity. We have been coming to him since ages, commuting from one end of Mumbai to come to his clinic because he’s the most trust worthy dentist for kids. Dr Ashwin Jawdekar is very down to earth Person, soft spoken, excellent personality.
I am getting my daughter, aged 10, treated for root canal, milk tooth extraction etc and she was also bit apprehensive and afraid, naturally, but after first visit only she was very supportive because of Doctors interactive approach.
What I liked about him is, he explains in detail about the problem and the treatment plan, which gave me clarity on treatment, number of visits required and above all confidence that I was getting my daughter, ******* **** **** ********** ******** *

Dr. Ashwin is patient, helpful *** ******* ******** ********** suggestions is to extend evening availabilty hours it becomes difficult to meet up during weekdays after coming from work.
My yesterday experience was not good, I reached late due to heavy traffic, however I called up reception and informed about same still by the time I reached Dr. Vinod has left for day.
I traveled 30-45 mins one way, expectation was a little courteous approach specially when I called and informed in advance.
