Dr. Amit Babasaheb Aiwale

Dr. Amit Aiwale completed his advanced training in neurosurgery at CARE Hospital in Hyderabad, where he worked alongside distinguished neurosurgeons such as Dr. Syed Ameer Basha, Dr. TVRK Murthy, and Dr. T.N Rao. He has presented and published numerous articles and research papers in the field of neurosurgery at national conferences, earning him the first prize in the NextGen Young Neurosurgeon category at the International Neurosurgery Update in 2018. Dr. Amit also completed a fellowship in neuroendoscopy (brain and spine) under the guidance of Dr. Y.R. Yadav. He was a fellow of the World Federation of Neurological Surgeons under the mentorship of Dr. Basant K. Misra. Currently, he is working as a clinical associate with Dr. B.K. Misra at P.D. Hinduja Hospital Mahim in Mumbai. Dr. Amit is an experienced neurosurgeon specializing in brain tumors, aneurysms, AVMs, head injuries and trauma, spine disorders such as slipped discs, back pain, lumbar and cervical spine surgeries, spine tumors, and spine TB. He is also skilled in endoscopic brain surgeries such as pituitary tumors, intraventricular tumors, and third ventriculostomy procedures. At Solaris Hospital in Thane, he has introduced navigation-guided brain and spine surgeries for the first time in the region, having performed over 1500 brain surgeries and more than 5000 spine surgeries to date.
