Dr. Alpa Alok Modi

I was diagnosed with lymphoma in Sep 2016. My wife is an old patient of Dr Alok Modi at Kevalya hospital, so we came to know that Dr Alpa Modi is an oncosurgeon from Tata hospital and working as the head of oncology department of Kevalya Hospital. Initially I was not having any generalized symptoms or complications and so I was not very keen on chemotherapy. We started homeopathic medicines which I am taking today also.

I was suffering from diabetes, hypertension for the last 15 years. Al of a sudden I developed acute pain in my abdomen and hence I approached Dr Alok Modi for guidance and treatment. He advised CT scan of my abdomen and came to the conclusion that there is a blockage in the intestinal system and advised urgent surgery. In spite of all the above complications , the abdominal surgery was performed by Dr Mrs Alpa Modi. I had a successful surgery and today after ten days I am recovering well and am comfortable.

I was referred by Dr Aruna who is an ayurvedic doctor. Dr Aruna is my mother's doctor. I started treatment in end of January. I have taken Ayurvedic treatment for general health problems. I had a lump in my right axilla for which I was scared. Dr Aruna has treated me earlier. I was treated here at Kevalya hospital by Dr Alpa Modi who counselled me and did a FNAC which is a bedside,quick painless procedure and confirmed that it is tuberculosis and relieved my mental stress. While I started my treatment I had my 3rd year exams going on. I am a B Pharm student. It was an effortless treatment that i had here. it did not interfere with my studies. I could clear my exams comfortably. Though it turned out to be an a tuberculosis abcess, Dr Alpa did not do surgery and treated me, for which i am extremely grateful to her.

My daughter who is 12 yrs old was suffering from stomach ache and bleeding in stools. I was recommended for Dr Alpa Modi by my neighbors and family doctor. She diagnosed my daughter to have ulcerative proctitis which is presence of an ulcer in the anal region. My daughter has been under her care for around a month. She is settled now and much better with her treatment. Found madam to be very humane and she explains the disease process very nicely with images and graphics. She is very friendly and made me and my daughter very much at ease. Her medications were not expensive and the cost of treatment was pocket friendly.
