Dr. Sanil V Shah

Dr. Sanil Shah is an Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with special interest in Cataract and Pediatric Ophthalmology. He successfully completed MBBS and MS from B. J. Medical college, Ahmedabad in the year 2007 and 2010 respectively. After completing MS, he underwent advanced training in Cataract microsurgery and Pediatric Ophthalmology at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai ( One of the Premier Eye Institute of India ). He was awarded the degree of Fellow of All India Collegiums of Ophthalmology in 2012. He continued his medical education and cleared FRCS examination (An internationally recognised Qualification in Ophthalmology) in February, 2017 and he was elected to Fellow qua Surgeon of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK. He has vast experience of 10 years in the field of Ophthalmology. During these 10 years he has treated almost 1 Lac OPD patients and perfomed more than 8000 surgeries. During his 5 years of tenure at Sankara Nethralaya, he has trained many post graduate doctors in Squint and Cataract Surgeries. He is actively involved in research activities and has many publications in nationnal and international journals. He has presented many papers and posters at national and international conferences.
