Dr. Jimit Vadgama

Dr. Jimit Vadgama is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Diabetologist at his “Swaminarayan Diabetes & Hormone Clinic” at Surat. He graduated MBBS from the Government Medical College Surat. He also did his Internal Medicine (MD) residency at the same college. He had served the institute as an assistant Professor in Department of Medicine in Government Medical College, Surat for more than 3 years. He then obtained Comprehensive Post Doctoral Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism under India and internationally renowned Padma Shree Prof. Dr. Shashank R. Joshi and Dr. Vijay Panikar at one of the prestigious institutes in the country, The Lilavati Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai. He has been awarded Fellowship of Diabetes India at the 7th World Congress of Diabetes India.He is also Zonal Topper and National Champion of TYSA AWARD 2016. He has presented many papers at various National and International Conferences. He has many research publications. He is one of the main authors of the RSSDI National Guidelines for In-Patient Management of Hyperglycemia.He is attached to Mahavir Cardiac & Multi-speciality Hospital, BAPS Hospital, Unicare Hospital & other Hospitals.
