Dr. Ruoxing Azure Sun, a well-known dentist from North California in the U.S., joined Gateway Dental Center recently. She earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Being the pioneer of the new generation global dentists, Dr. Sun possesses practice certificates in the U.S. (California, Pennsylvania, and Texas States), and in Singapore.In the U.S., Dr. Sun provides high-quality dental services to her patients as a general dentist with advanced experience in Invisalign braces, cosmetic dentistry and treating periodontal diseases. She also impressed patients with her kindness and patience, and received excellent feedback. Dr. Sun always keeps up with the latest dental technology. Throughout the year, Dr. Sun attends international conferences and continued education courses, including Invisalign, BioLaser, cosmetic dentistry, pediatrics dentistry, sedation, and oral cancer diagnosis. Dr. Sun is now an active member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association.Dr. Sun is willing to bring the updated U.S. dentistry ideas to Singapore and serve the community with her profound knowledge of oral medicine. Dr. Sun welcomes patients who are looking for comprehensive dental care, cosmetic dental works, and orthodontics (Invisalign braces). Dr. Sun made both clinical and research achievements. She received the Master's degree in Craniofacial Molecular Biology from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at University of Southern California, where she dedicated herself to studies of etiology and the therapy of periodontal diseases. She was the first one to graduate from the program as the first author of published paper.Dr. Sun is fluent in both English and Mandarin. She also volunteers at public oral health education services. In her spare time, she enjoys reading literature, as well as playing piano and violin.
