Dr. Geetha Karbeet R. Pai, a general surgeon, completed her MS in general surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India and has qualified as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Edinburgh UK.Dr. Pai’s has extensive work experience as a surgeon and also as a professor. She has worked at Vijaya Hospital and KBN Hospital in India. She has taught surgery at Kasturba Medical College and Hospital in Manipal and Rajarajeshwari Medical College in Bangalore, India. She has worked at the Al Zahra Hospital in Sharjah.Dr. Pai is a member of the Association of Surgeons of India, fellow and member, Minimal Access Surgeons of India and member, Women's Association of Surgeons of India, Fellowship Association of Surgeons of IndiaDr. Geetha Karbeet R. Pai performs a wide variety of surgical procedures. Some of these are - breast surgeries for lumps, including breast cancer surgeries, laparoscopic surgeries – cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia surgeries for inguinal, umbilical and ventral hernia including abdominoplasties. She performs anorectal surgeries for haemorrhoids, fissure, fistula including THD with mucopexy, HAL-RAR and video assisted fistula surgery. She also does the excision of skin and subcutaneous tissue swellings.Apart from her busy schedule as a surgeon, Dr. Pai finds time to pursue reading, travelling and yoga. She speaks a number of languages, including Arabic, English, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
