Dr. Adel Elhamamsy

A paediatric specialist, Dr. Adel Taha Elhamamsy holds an MD in Paediatrics and Neonatology from Al Azhar University in Egypt. He has extensive work experience at hospitals in Egypt, Oman and the UAE. He has worked at the Kafer Elsheikh Hospital and Military Hospital in Egypt. He has also been head and in-charge of School Health Clinics in Musandam, Oman. He has worked in the UAE at the Al Qassmi Hospital, Al Dhaid Hospital and Latifa Hospital. He is member and coordinator of the BFHI Programme of UNICEF. He is also a member of several medical associations, including the Emirates Paediatrics Society - part of the Emirates Medical Association (EMA), the Egyptian Paediatrics Society. He is a consultant paediatrician at the Medical Egyptian Syndicate. Dr. Adel Taha Elhamamsy treats paediatric patients and provides guidance about diet and nutrition and conducts growth and development assessment. He administers immunisation and health support programmes. He conducts annual health check-ups and treats for asthma management.Dr. Elhamamsy enjoys reading and can speak Arabic and English.
