Dr. Aliaa Aboshanady

Dr. Aliaa Adel is a Specialist in the Department of Internal Medicine at Medcare Hospital. She obtained her MBBS and a Masters degree in Internal Medicine from the renowned Tanta University in Egypt. She has also completed a Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).She is a member of the Egyptian Medical Syndicate and the Delta Endocrine and Diabetes Association, Egypt.After completing her residency as an Internal Medicine Resident Doctor at the Tanta University Hospital in Egypt, Dr. Adel continued working in Egypt for nearly a decade before relocating to the UAE.She served as a Specialist in Internal Medicine for the Ministry of Health in Egypt and then did a stint as an Assistant Lecturer in the Endocrine and Diabetes Unit at the Internal Medicine Department, Faculty of Medicine at Tanta University in Egypt. In the UAE she has been an Internal Medicine Specialist Registrar at DHA and MOH.As an extremely dedicated and compassionate physician, Dr. Adel has been involved in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of conditions related to Diabetes Mellitus (type 1 & 2), Thyroid disorders, Pituitary disorders, Adrenal disorders, Metabolic syndrome, Obesity, Dyslipidaemia, Ischemic heart disease and Hypertension.
