Dr. Chinmayee Ratha –MS(ObG) FRCOG(UK) FIMSA FICOG; is a trained Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has dedicated her clinical interests to the service of the fetus – the unborn baby the building block of tomorrow's society. She started her career in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology after having completed her MBBS with Honours from King George's Medical College, Lucknow, by receiving the degree of Master of Surgery in Obstetrics and Gynecology from MLN Medical College, Allahabad. She was further awarded the membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, London, UK.Dr. Chinmayee developed an interest in Fetal Medicine after attending a course in Clinical Genetics conducted by Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) at SGPGI Lucknow. The course gave her the first insight into the potential of prenatal diagnosis and treatment of fetal conditions that could help achieve better health goals in future. She started her Fetal Medicine journey in 2006 at Bangalore Fetal Medicine Centre and Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore. Subsequently, she has done clinical attachments at Harris Birthright Research Centre, King's College Hospital, London and at the Fetal Medicine Unit, St.George's Hospital, London. She served as a consultant Fetal Medicine in Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi and worked at the Apollo Centre for Fetal Medicine. She also headed the Fetal Medicine Unit at Rainbow Hospitals from 2011 to 2016.She believes that practicing Fetal Medicine in India has been one of the most satisfying decisions of her life and she intends to improvise care modules and disseminate practical approaches to planning management in challenging cases. To improve the reach of Fetal Medicine across India, she has been working in close collaboration with practicing doctors across the country to develop a "Shared Care" approach for difficult fetal cases. She travels frequently to different locations and conducts workshops/ training sessions to share her learnings in the area of Fetal Medicine.

"Pregnancy demands a lot of physical and mental strength from a woman and the support provided by husband just by being by her side during this time is unmatched in gaining that strength" - This is the first and foremost lesson I learnt from Dr. Chinmayee which I now completely understand why.
I and my wife consulted her for the first time in a chaotic situation. We had to take a decision whether to abort or go ahead with a complicated first pregnancy.
By then we approached 3 apparently top doctors who could not clearly explain us the situation but suggested not to go ahead. Let me tell you, my wife is a dental surgeon herself!! Moreover, we did not find that comfort with these doctors who were just trying to treat without establishing the connect which was required at that moment. Just imagine your situation when the attendants form the hospital calls you and says, "madam! you spoke to Dr. x today morning no, when are you coming for the abortion?"....
In such a situation, Dr. Chinmayee was the one who instantly established that connect with us and explained clearly the details of the complexity the featus was in and left the decision on us. We could easily confide with her that helped us take the decision. That was when we decided this is the doctor we would consult for any future requirement.
Dr. Chinmayee and her team at Navodaya hospitals have been so supportive during my wife's second pregnancy right from the start. I cannot forget the night of the delivery. At some point, we thought that a C-section would be imperative. But Dr. Chinmayee ensured normal delivery for my wife and we are blessed with a baby princess. I don't really understand how anybody can maintain the so much of energy levels even after working for almost 30 hours at a stretch. The entire team was with us all through the night with amazing patience levels...
There are very few doctors in Hyderabad who work for the passion they have for their work and Dr. Chinmayee is probably the first among them. We strongly recommend her to all our friends and relatives out there...

We were almost ready to abbort our second baby during my second trimester but after meeting Dr chinmayee our whole journey has changed . She speaks very positively and handles complications very well. our baby has some health issues now but she did not diserve a abortion and no Dr in the city gave us hopes except madam .we wish and pray for madam . Our only suggestion is to start your hospital ,rather than visiting in Apollo spectra which has not so good management .

We took TIffa scan and given reports as abnormal , and asked us to do tests , around it cost 55 k *** **** ** **** ** ******* ***** ** ** **** ****** ******* ***** ** *** ****** **** ******* .
Note: if they told scan reports are abnormal please don’t processed to do lab examination tests ,which they suggest . Please take second opinion. We lossed 55k doing those labs tests (Feral testing as advise and maternal TORCH test)
