Dr. Stephan Antonius Kohnen

Dr. Stephan Kohnen, DMD, is a seasoned periodontics practitioner in Bellevue, WA, boasting over 26 years of experience in the medical field. A Tufts University graduate of 1997, he is also affiliated with Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center.Originally from Germany, Dr. Kohnen earned his dental and oral surgery degree from the University of Münster, School of Dental Medicine, in 1991. Upholding a family tradition, he became the third-generation dentist in his family’s practice in North Germany.In his early career, Dr. Kohnen practiced privately in Munich as one of the pioneering periodontists in Europe. He was later recruited to lead the Surgical Department at the prestigious CDC Kliniek, a dental and implant center in the Netherlands.
