Dr. Ajay Kumar

I am writing on behalf of my aunt.

I was referred to Dr. Ajay Kumar by an another Doctor, who was also a surgeon, for my aunt's breast cancer surgery. My experience was very good with him. Without wasting time he did surgery, on the same day of admission in his hospital. After 4-5 days she was discharged and the final report which came was very much satisfactory. Many people told me to take her to specialist hospitals like Tata Memorial hospital (Mumbai) or Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute. As my aunt's financial status is not so good (his husband is an auto driver), I was confused how to proceed further. Money was the big problem for them. They all were relying on my judgement because they doesn't know about cancer. All they know that it is a deadly disease. Neighbors of them were also saying that don't do surgery in Ranchi, surgery is not good in cancer, my relative condition worsened after surgery and died, consult another doctor, go out-station for treatment, etc. etc. I told my problem to Previous Doctor. He told that Dr. Ajay is very experienced in these types of surgery and I practiced under him for many years (5-8 years). And one thing I came to know that the very best private hospital for cancer in Ranchi i.e, HCG, Irba is having specialist cancer surgeon, who is 4 years junior to my first doctor who referred me to Dr. Ajay Kumar. Now, I was very much confident that he can handle this situation very professionally.

Dr. Ajay told me that there is no need to go out of Ranchi for this surgery. It very much possible in Ranchi. He gave me the estimated cost of surgery which was around Rs.38,000/- + Rs.10,000/-(Bed and nursing charge of 5 days) His behavior was very nice and polite. Medicine which he prescribed was also not of higher rates.

When final report came and I met Dr. Ajay, he told every thing is fine and we will start some therapy which is necessary. He also assured that he will suggest and guide so that expense can be minimized.

I will recommend any cancer patient to consult once if he/she is diagnosed with cancer and opting for a surgery.

3 years back I was detected with breast cancer and had to get operated and treated. My uncle in law who himself is a doctor suggested n referred my case to Dr. Ajay Kumar of Singhal surgical hospital ranchi. To avoid the travelling and for a hassle free treatment I stayed here and underwent the operation n chemo under Dr.Ajay's guidance. This hospital has best services at best cost and its not required to leave the city at instance. Please take this hospital into consideration as I am fit and healthy after treatment.

Dr. Ajay is a well behaviour and get nice n satisfactory advice. But one thing time was not accurate according to your appointment. Even I don't mind regarding time issue. Treatment is well then all is well.

I thought very good , the doctor is very good person i like his treatment but in my thought the fee is more
