Dr Mohamed Ibrahime Asif a dedicated Ophthalmologist with extensive training and experience in Cornea and Ocular Surface Disorders, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery. He completed MD in Ophthalmology from Dr. RP Centre, AIIMS, New Delhi in 2017, followed by Senior Residency from 2018 to 2021, during which he was awarded the Best Senior Resident Award (2021). He has published over 65 peer-reviewed articles, authored chapters in ophthalmology reference books, and presented extensively at national and international conferences.His academic contributions have been recognized with multiple awards, including the Dr. VK Kalra Memorial Trophy, along with several prizes for papers, presentations, and ophthalmology quizzes.Clinically, He has extensive experience managing a wide spectrum of anterior segments and ocular surface disorders. He have performed over 5,500 cataract surgeries, including complex and complicated cases, and a comprehensive range of keratoplasty procedures (PKP, DALK, SALK, DSEK, DSAEK, DMEK), including combined and high-risk surgeries. He is also highly experienced in refractive surgery, having performed over 4,500 procedures, including LASIK/Contoura, PRK, SMILE, SILK, Phakic IOLs, Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), and INTACS.He previously worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Eye7 Chaudhary Eye Centre, New Delhi, where he managed high-volume OPD and OT services.
