Dr. Shantam Mohan

Dr. Shantam Mohan is a gastroenterologist at Saroj-Madan Gastro-Liver Care Clinic and Advanced Endoscopy Centre in Sheikhpura, Patna, with 21 years of experience. He completed his MBBS at Patna Medical College in 2005 and a DM in Gastroenterology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, in 2015, and is registered with the Bihar Medical Council.He trained as junior resident in pharmacology at RIMS from 2007 to 2008, resident in internal medicine at IMS BHU from 2008 to 2011 and senior resident in medicine in 2011, was assistant professor at VSGGMSRI from 2011 to 2012, and after his DM at SGPGI was consultant gastroenterologist at Medica Superspeciality Hospital from 2015 to 2016 and at Paras HMRI Hospital in 2016. His practice follows current guidelines and recommendations as applied at institutions such as AIIMS, SGPGI, PGI Chandigarh and CMC Vellore.His endoscopy work covers gastroscopy, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, ERCP, therapeutic endoscopy and liver biopsy. He treats liver disease including fatty liver and chronic liver disease, gallbladder stones and other hepato-biliary-pancreatic conditions, gastrointestinal bleeding, abdominal pain, constipation and non-surgical management of piles.
