Dr. Arjun Kumar Singh says "I have an experience of over 34 years behind me. I started my career from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Sitapur in 1981. I served as a senior eye surgeon in R.I.O , Sitapur from 1985 to 1989 where my team and I performed over 50000 cataract surgeries. Our team of doctors were first to get exposed to lens implantation surgery for cataract in India (PCIOL/ECCE) under the renowned surgeon , Dr Ake Holmes from Sweden in 1986 in R.I.O, Sitapur. Thus I got the privilege to become the first surgeon to start lens implant surgery in Bihar and Jharkhand in 1989. Till 2017 I have done more than 1.5 lakh (I have lost count now) cataract surgery and more than 15000 phaco-emulsifications. I started phaco-emulsification in Bihar and Jharkhand on 3rd December, 1996 and was the second surgeon in East India to do so and 1st surgeon in Bihar. Thousands of patients of glaucoma got treated and operated from me. Under the able guidance of dons and veteran doctors of Sitapur eye hospital, I mastered all aspects of eye surgery including squint surgery, keratoplasty and oculoplastic surgery. From 1993, to 2001, I associated with Gayatri parivar in Chapra where I did free surgeries every year, thus helped in laying the foundation of Akhand Jyoti Eye hospital".

I am based in Gurgaon. I went to Dr Arjun for my father's surgery in Patna. My father knew Dr Arjun . I insisted that he gets operated in Delhi but father was persistent on getting operated from him due to his huge experience. I was bit circumspect initially but after getting operated from him successfully inspite of nominal charges which are just one third of the cost in Delhi with same quality of lens. I got convinced that it's not the 5 star set up but the experience and knowledge of doctor matters My father got his vision back in 3 weeks. He does not need glasses any more. I plan to get his second eye operated from Dr Arjun very soon. Thank you sir . We recommend him thoroughly

my sister's daughter was suffering from amblyopia. It requires special occlusion therapy and exercises for restoring the vision. No doctor in patna was able to advise regarding the treatment. My sister's daughter went to Dr Arjun after recommendation from a family friend. He recommended that proper treatment of amblyopia was not available in Patna and she should take her child to Sitapur eye hospital-regional eye institute. It is only upto 12 years that vision of amblyopia patient can be restored. After his recommendation my sisiter took my child there. her child's vision is restored now. I thank the doctor from the bottom of my heart for correct advice.

I am not going to do your treatment get out of my chamber).
