Dr. Anas Usman

Anas Usman is an experienced Physiotherapist who has been working in private practice since 2015. He obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Kovai Medical Center and Hospital (KMCH) in Coimbatore, India, and then completed a Fellowship in Orthopedic Rehabilitation at Apollo Hospital to further his expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation. To expand his knowledge in exercise physiology, he pursued a post-graduate degree in MSc Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation from the University of Chester in the United Kingdom. His degrees have a strong emphasis on using exercise to treat various health conditions and rehabilitating different types of individuals. He also completed additional qualifications in Manual Therapy and Myofascial Release to enhance his treatment skills. Anas started his career at Kovai Medical Center and Hospital, building his general practice skills in various speciality areas. He then moved to Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, and Apollo Hospital Bangalore, two of the most highly regarded medical institutions in India. He has also worked in a private clinic and as an autonomous practitioner doing in-house consultations and providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment. He has done various volunteer work to gain experience and help people around him. Anas has gained extensive experience in various areas of physiotherapy, working with both inpatient and outpatient services, including specialized units like Intensive Care Units (MICU, SICU, CTICU, CCU, NICU, and Transplant ICU), as well as general medicine and surgery wards, organ transplant units (Liver and Kidney), geriatrics, neurological, orthopedic, cardiothoracic, and pulmonary units, and rehabilitation services. He believes in providing treatment with a touch of humanity and working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic treatment for the betterment of those in need. Anas is registered with the Indian Association of Physiotherapists and the Health and Care Professions Council.
