Dr. Geetanjally Yadav says "I come with Counseling Knowledge from Texas, USA about techniques and theories of counseling and utilizing subject matter expertise and responsible for providing assessments/evaluations, recommendations, consultations, and/or interventions for psychological/ behavioral problems of varied clientele including substance abuse, domestic violence, crisis intervention and more. Also, an understanding of factors relevant to successful counseling with different populations within a culturally diverse society and ones characteristics and attitude for developing cultural competence. I accumulated 8+years’ experience and a total of 14 years working experience, my aim is to promote acceptance of Counseling as an important part of everyone’s holistic health maintenance. I graduated with my Masters in Professional Counseling in 2013 from Texas Wesleyan University, Fort Worth, USA, completed Bachelors in Biology and Psychology from Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, Texas. Currently working on my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from St. Mary’s University, San Antonio, Texas. With my knowledge and experience, I encourage my patients “to be the expert of their own life and unwrap all the power to change for better that lies within them”. In my free time I love to play with my two beautiful daughters and relax with a fun comedy movie with my husband. My hobbies are writing poems, story-telling my daughters, and community work."
