JSS Hospital is a private multi-speciality hospital on Mahatma Gandhi Road, K R Mohalla, Ramanuja Road, Mysore 570004, opposite the Chamundeshwari Temple. It is part of JSS Mahavidyapeetha and grew from a primary health centre established in 1974. It is NABH accredited.Imaging includes a 3 Tesla MRI, the first in the region, and a 128-slice CT scanner, the first in Mysore. The hospital runs a 24-hour dialysis centre with 39 dialysis units, 23 major operation theatres including three modular theatres, flat-panel cath labs, a dedicated burns unit, an artificial limb centre, physiotherapy and rehabilitation facilities and a 24-hour poison information service, supported by ICU ambulances, emergency services, radiology, laboratory diagnostics and a blood bank and transfusion centre. Clinical services span cardiology with interventional, preventive, vascular and paediatric cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology and cardiothoracic, cardiovascular and vascular surgery, including angioplasty and stenting and complex angioplasty for chronic total occlusions; neurology, neurosurgery and neurospine and spine surgery; oncology with surgical, radiation, gynaecologic, paediatric, thoracic and haematologic oncology; gastroenterology and hepatology with gastrointestinal surgery and radiology; nephrology; endocrinology and endocrine surgery; obstetrics and gynaecology; paediatrics with paediatric surgery and paediatric emergency medicine; general and laparoscopic surgery; orthopaedics; dermatology and dermatosurgery; ENT; dentistry; clinical psychology; anaesthesiology; and pathology, clinical biochemistry, cytogenetics and medical microbiology.
