Dr. Vijaya Srinivas

Dr. Vijaya is a Senior research Physician at Public Health Research Institute of India, Mysore for 15 years and retired from there recently. She was involved with cervical cancer prevention with screening program for the past fifteen years. She completed her graduation in 1975 through Madras Medical counsel after my graduation from Stanley medical college. Involved with various research project in her previous work area and had been mentor for several young graduates who visited us for various reaserch work. Author and vo author for various publication. Worked as a consultant for Sex worker community known as Ashodhya in Mysore and had been consultant for HIV field. Interested area: women's reproductive health, cervical cancer prevention, Adolescent health, Prevention of Diabetic and other Non communicable diseases.
