He was awarded the prestigious "Fellowship in Sports Medicine & Adult Reconstructive Surgery (joint replacement)" at Arcus Sports Institute, in Pforzheim, Germany. (2011)He was also awarded a "Fellowship in Arthroplasty (joint replacement) and Reconstructive Orthopaedic Surgery" at St. Josef Bruderkrankenhaus Hospital, in Paderborn, Germany.
