Dr. Vivek Kochar

I went for pain in my wrist, shoulder and foot. And after a week of visiting Dr. Vivek Kochar I am fully satisfied. Especially my wrist problem of Ganglion cyst was for few years and finally after visiting him, i am now feeling good. For shoulder Asymmetry he told some exercises and lifestyle changes which I feel I can see working and for foot swelling he prescribed some medications which have helped greatly reduce the swelling. ** *********** * *** *** *** ********* ******* ******So in short: i found the doctor to be friendly, ************** thoughtful and caring.

My experience :

My experience with Dr. Vivek Kochar had been exceptionally pleasant one. I have visited a lot of doctors and I can say he is one of the "very" few doctors who actually see patient as a human and listens to them in detail even if it takes a long time of his. What I loved the most is that he is genuinely interested in finding the root cause of the problem, and not in a hurry to just prescribe medicines to patients.

He listens very carefully to patient and then make patient understand what is the problem and why the patient is facing it and then proposes the solution and tells the patient what needs to be done. What I loved is that he gave only the minimal amount of required medicines and specially spent a good amount time telling me the exercises that needs to be done. This is extremely helpful for a long term solution, props to him for that.

Overall my experience was great to say the least, in my case i can say it was worth travelling more than 60km from my native place to visit him for OPD. I found the doctor and staff to be friendly *** ************** and the facilities also upto the mark. Also the doctor gives his personal number to the patient which makes him really accessible over a phone call or Whatsapp.

My father, Sh R.K.P.Singh, Age 76 years, had a road accident on 5th Oct 2019 while crossing a road. The tissues on the top of his feet had got crushed and he had multiple fractures. He received treatment under Dr Vivek Kochar at Paras Hospital, Panchkula for around 50 days starting from 9th Oct 2019.

The treatment by Dr Kocher was painstakingly long on account of old-age related issues and the wound being wide and deep. Dr Vivek Kochar made it sure to do the dressing of wound himself every alternate day, explaining the intricacies of the healing process, being available on phone for advice all throughout, guiding with the options available for different treatment options like grafting etc.

Within 6 weeks of the treatment, my father was in much better shape, the fracture and wound almost completely healed and my father was in a position to walk around on his feet and also get back to his native place full of confidence.

"Medicines cure diseases but only doctors can cure patients" This is so true in my case .Had surgery for ACL reconstruction on 29th of july and resumed my life in almost 15 days and I'm getting better with each day A big thank to Dr Vivek Kochar . ******* ** ** ** *** **** * I had 100s of questions before surgery, throughout surgery and after surgery 😁 and he answered all of them very patiently. He made my surgery and rehabilitation so easy like I didn't even realised I had a surgery. And I recovered so fast because of his treatment and motivation.
