Dr. Sandeep Gupta is a renowned hip and trauma surgeon of the North india region. After completing his basic training, he did fellowship in Ilizarov from Lecco Italy and fellowship in hip replacement and Pelvi-acetabular trauma from Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia. Before joining Fortis, he was Associate professor in Department of Orthopaedics ,GMCH, Chandigarh.He is an authority on complex hip and revision hip arthroplasty along with management of Pelvi-acetabular and other Peri-articular fractures. He is credited with developing innovative methods of treating Osteoarticular infections including Infected hip arthroplasty and infected non-unions which has given hope of limb-salvage in patients advised amputations. He has widely published in international journals of repute and his work has been awarded with a gold medal by Indian Orthopaedic Association. He has been guest faculty for arthroplasty and trauma cadaveric workshops across country.
