Dr. Prashant Rastogi

I met a severe accident in 2015. There was no hope of saving my leg. But Dr Rastogi saved it. Though it is costlier than others but he did a great job. I know that almost all cases are treated by him with great professionalism and experience.

The doctor seemed good but the patient experience is pathetic and very chaotic. There is no private time with doctor. At each time atleast three patients are sitting inside the doctors cabin looking at the case discussion. The waiting area is also poorly managed with no facilities for the patient to pass their time considering the fee taken is 800 per visit and takes around 2 hours per visit. I was shocked to see that x rays were being taken in the same room in which patient dressing were done. The patients were continuously lying in the room when the xray were being taken. Given that x-rays are harmful for human body there is no separate xray room with separation to block x-rays. There is no process of how people are send inside to visit doctor and patients who knew people in clinic clearly got advantage of jumping lines ahead of those waiting in the queue. The person at reception just strikes the name of people who have already visited and writes the name of their known ones to justify in case people raise objection on waiting. One patient even got discount of 200 in fee since he knew one of the guys in clinic. Not sure if the doctor even knows about it on how he is being taken at hand by his employees. Overall the doctor may be good but the patient care services is pathetic.
