Description
Zincoderm G Cream is a combination of clobetasol, gentamycin and zinc sulfate. It is used for the treatment of bacterial and fungal infections of the skin. It works by killing or stopping the growth of microorganisms that causes infection. It provides relief from symptoms of infection like swelling, redness etc. Zincoderm G Cream causes some side effects which include itching, dryness, redness, and burning sensation at the site of application. Seek medical help if you experience any symptoms of an allergic reaction like rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath. Your doctor may perform a patch test before starting treatment with this cream as it can cause skin allergy. Zincoderm G Cream can be applied as a thin layer on the affected areas of the skin with clean and dry hands. This cream is meant for external use only. Avoid direct contact with your eyes, nose, mouth, or other smooth muscles, in case of accidental contact wash immediately with water. Zincoderm G Cream is not recommended for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. It is recommended to take this antibiotic cream only with the doctor's prescription. Complete the entire treatment course to get its maximum benefits and to prevent the development of bacterial resistance. It may take several days to weeks to clear up your symptom, but you should keep using this medicine regularly for better results. Cushing's syndrome

Zincoderm G Cream may cause hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis suppression and causes Cushing's syndrome (high cortisol levels) when you use high doses for a prolonged period. Any symptoms like muscle weakness, swelling of the face should be reported to your doctor immediately.

Zincoderm G Cream is an external preparation. Avoid contact with the mouth, eyes, nose, and, ears. In case of accidental contact, wash thoroughly with water. Apply a thin layer of Zincoderm G Cream to the affected area as instructed by the doctor. Finish your entire course of treatment even if your symptoms begin to clear up after a few days. If the symptoms are not resolved within seven days, consult your doctor before continuing the treatment. This cream may initially burn or sting as soon as you apply it. You should not touch or scratch the infected area as it can help in the spread of infection to other body parts as well. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless specifically instructed by the doctor.

Zincoderm G Cream is composed of clobetasol, gentamicin and zinc sulfate. Clobetasol is a corticosteroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers which causes redness, swelling and itching of the skin. Gentamicin is an antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by inhibiting protein synthesis which is essential for bacterial growth. Zinc sulfate mainly smoothens the skin and helps in the healing process. Thus, this combination is effectively used in treating skin irritation and inflammation.
