Description
Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet contains Naproxen. It is used to relieve pain and swelling in conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis (the fusing of bones in the spine), osteoarthritis (wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones), rheumatoid arthritis (when the immune system attacks the small joints and damages it), dysmenorrhoea (menstrual pain), etc. It works by stopping the formation of certain substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet shows some side effects like nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, loss of appetite, indigestion, headache, dizziness, and drowsiness. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid consuming alcohol while you are on this medication, as it may increase the risk of side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and stomach bleeding. Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet may be taken with food to avoid stomach discomfort. The dose and duration will be determined by your doctor based on your condition. Allergy

Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG)

Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is a surgical procedure that diverts the blood from narrowed or blocked vessels in the heart to improve its blood supply. Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet is not recommended for use before, during, or after a coronary artery bypass graft surgery as it may increase the risk of heart attack and stroke (brain damage due to interrupted blood supply to the brain).

Gastrointestinal bleeding

Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet is not recommended for use if you have stomach and intestinal bleeding, perforation (holes that form in the walls of the stomach and intestine), or ulceration (open sores in the inner lining of your stomach and the upper region of your small intestine), as it may further worsen your condition.

General warnings

Heart diseases

Hence it should be used with caution if you have preexisting fluid retention, high blood pressure, or a history of heart failure (the heart is unable to pump sufficient blood throughout the body). Driving or operating machines

Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet may cause sleepiness or dizziness. Hence avoid driving vehicles and operating heavy machines after taking this medicine.

Hyperkalaemia

Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet may cause an increase in potassium concentration in the blood. Hence it should be used with caution if you have hyperkalaemia (high blood potassium levels). Your doctor may suggest tests to monitor your blood potassium levels periodically while you are taking this medicine.

Skin allergies

Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet may cause serious skin reactions in some cases. Bleeding disorder

Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet may inhibit the formation of blood clots and prolong the bleeding time. Hence, this medicine should be used with extreme caution if you have active bleeding or clotting disorders (blood does not clot normally, causing excessive bleeding).

Anaemia

Anaemia refers to low red blood cell count. Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet should be used with caution as it may cause anaemia. If you have anaemia, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose of Xenobid 275 Mg Tablet as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
