How it works
Domperidone works by blocking certain chemicals in the brain and the intestines. This causes improved movements and faster gastric emptying, which helps in the prevention of vomiting. Pantoprazole works by interfering with the final step of acid release in the stomach. This helps in reducing the acidity in the stomach. Thus, the combination is better effective for the treatment of GERD.
